      May 13,  · In Gogarty published his first prose work, As I Was Going Down Sackville Street (subtitled ‘A Phantasy in Fact’), a semi-fictional memoir that tells, in reverse chronological order, the story of Gogarty’s Dublin through a series of interconnected anecdotes and characters sketches. They both came with me in the motorcar to Great Britain Street. It was then about p.m. I went on to 16 Moore Street, and as I passed Sackville Lane, the first turn on the left in Moore Street going down from Great Britain Street.
